Getting to The Crossing Inn

Getting to Fitzroy Crossing

Fitzroy Crossing itself is approximately 400km (250 miles) east of Broome, a trip of around four hours. It is approximately 250km (155 miles) south east of Derby, a two and a half hour drive. It is 290km south of Halls Creek, and around 660km (410 miles) by road from Kununarra (six hours).
There is good access year round as all main roads are bitumenised. During the months of December through March the Fitzroy River is prone to flooding, so please check to make sure roads are open and safe before leaving for your destination at these times. You can check road information at the Main Roads Department of WA web site.

Getting to the Inn

The Crossing Inn is on Skuthorp Road, about three minutes drive north-east of the Fitzroy Crossing township... click here for a map.
We suggest turning left off Great Northern Highway onto Forrest Road, driving through town, right onto Sanford Road and then left into Skuthorp.
